Painter and his Model
An old oak-wood frame as paint, in front of it there is the artist stamped on a slab of slate. On the base is a little monkey who is painting - an ironical quotation from the French art. The model is a classicist beauty, here a homage to the world of art of the "Düsseldorfer Malerschule", which was influenced from the classicism.
